We are a family-owned hardwood sawmill located in North Garden, Virginia, specializing in sawing quality hardwood lumber for many different utilizations and products as well as purchasing high quality timber and logs for niche local markets. In addition to turning hardwood logs into lumber, we aid landowners in managing their stands of timber in a way they see best fit to help achieve their management goals for the property through sustainable timber harvest.

Harry Campbell started and worked Campbell Lumber Mill for 62 years; he was a true inspiration to the new owners Patty Campbell-Rodgers and Jack Rodgers (His daughter and grandson) He had a love for big timbers, sharp saws and wide lumber. In truth, all aspects of the lumber business ran through his veins as it does with Patty and Jack. One of Harry's favorite sayings, "Once you get sawdust in your lungs, you never get it out". They are keeping his memory alive and building on what he started all those years ago.

Jack Rodgers and his mother, Patty Rodgers, are on the procurement team here at Campbell-Rodgers Lumber Company. Jack is soon to be a graduate of Virginia Tech where he has studied Forestry Operations and Business over the past few years with hopes of bringing my education and knowledge of the woods back to the family business and local landowners. Timber and forest management expands will beyond promoting forest health, but also has an impact on water quality, forest species diversity, wildlife health and habitat, decreasing the risk of wildfire, carbon sequestration, and so forth. Implementing a sustainable timber harvest by professionals can have a lasting beneficial impact on your forest as such a harvest can promote natural regeneration, minimize competition of mature trees, as well as promoting the growth of trees left behind for future timber harvests.
